Hardwood Flooring Questions

Most projects take 3–5 days depending on square footage and subfloor condition. A typical 500 sqft living room takes 2–3 days. Larger whole-home installs (1,500+ sqft) can take 5–7 days. We'll give you an exact timeline during the estimate.
Yes. We use engineered hardwood or a floating installation method for concrete subfloors. We also install a moisture barrier to prevent warping. Solid hardwood can be installed on concrete with a plywood subfloor overlay, which we build on-site.
Solid hardwood is thicker, can be refinished multiple times, and lasts 50+ years. Engineered hardwood is more stable in humidity, works on concrete, and costs less. For most LA homes, either works — we'll recommend based on your subfloor type and budget.
Yes. We remove old baseboards before installation and install new baseboards after. If you want to keep your existing baseboards, we'll carefully remove and reinstall them. Baseboard material cost is included in our per-sqft pricing.
Nail-down is the strongest method for solid hardwood on plywood subfloors. Glue-down works for engineered hardwood on concrete. Floating is the fastest and works for engineered hardwood in any room. We'll recommend the right method during the estimate.
Yes. We offer flexible financing options for projects over $3,000. Apply during your free estimate appointment and get a decision the same day.
